• A genus of hyphomycetous fungi forming somewhat effuse, loose, pulvinate masses with branched conidiophores bearing unicellular hyaline or bright-colored conidia. About 13 species are known. T. lignorum is the most common and widely distributed species, forming small dark green masses on decaying wood throughout Europe and North America. (noun)
