Definition of "partibus" [partibus]

  • In Scots law, a note written on the margin of a summons when lodged for calling, containing the name and designation of the pursuer or pursuers, and de-fender or defenders, if there are only two; if more, the name and designation of the party first named, with the words “and others.” (noun)
