Definition of "pistol-grip" [pistol-grip]

  • A handle, shaped like the butt of a pistol, attached to the under side of the small of the stock of fowling-pieces and rifles. It affords a better hold for the hand than the ordinary form of stock. Also pistol-hand. See cut under gun. (noun)
